Wow! Today's Mail Art reveal was really wonderful and inspiring. So glad we have decided to do some more!! Here's our new projects and the June -July trade info in date order:
June 28th: Collaborative Trade swap date - Focal Point
July 12th: Collaborative Trade swap date - The Words
July 20th: ATC Swap for July--"Green Cards"
July 26th: Collaborative Trade swap date - Embellishment
August ATC Swap - Fabric Cards
September ATC Swap - Collaborative Trade
October Mail Art Swap - Let's plan to mail by the 8th and meet the following week on the 12th or 13th.
November: No swap
December Book Swap - This is what we decided. We will each make 7 pieces of art that are 4" x 6". One for each other person in the group and one for yourself (optional?). We will send these artworks to each other in December. After you have received all the art from everyone you will bind your artworks into a book of some sort. At our January meeting (sometime after the 15th) we will share our Art Books with each other. There are really no rules other than size. It must be 4" x 6". Subject matter is up to the artist...there is no theme. Unless there are objections, I guess the artwork could be single sided or double sided. It can have 3D portions. That's it for now.
